i remembered!..almost

So, i almost remembered to post on monday!
Fairly unsuccesful week of working out. Went and did some gym workout on monday/tuesday, then went with Coral, Chris, and chris's kids to Stratton Brook state park and did some hiking,swimming, and kickball on wednesday. friday I hit the gym again for some running and arm work.. sadly that was the last day i hit the gym. Prolly gonna try and get there today before work, but I have so much cleaning and organizing and stuff to do before school starts! It's craziness!!

wow.. such a sucky blogger,,

So it has been 2 monndays + a few days and i'm finally updating, because a friend of mine had a status about updating and it reminded me. haha.oops.
So I've been "running" pretty steady ( aka..run til my lungs are about to burst, then walk til i can breathe again, run, walk etc) I decided that was maybe NOT the best idea, so i did some readinh on runnersworld.com and decided to follow their beginning plan which is run 1 min,walk 2min repeat for 10 times for 1 week then you change it up. I did this 2 days so far, and while it brings my mile back up to almost 19 minutes from 17.5 i feel like it is a healthier way to get to my Manchester Road Race goal in November. I've been trying to eat better. Not so much watching my calories, but just making diet changes, like.. subway instead of mcdonalds, or salad instead of a sandwich, water instead of soda or juice.... i duno if it's really working all that well, may need to re-vamp. Especially with school starting in like 10 days.. i duno how things are gonna work.. oi vey.

anyway.. I WILL post on monday ! Cross my heart hope to die and all that stuff!

little moments

So, It's been a while, but i'm here again, and ready and roaring! Back in March, I started working with a Naturopathic Doctor on what My mother, my doctor, and I believe is a hormone imbalance that Has helped me get little to no advance in the weight loss department, Since starting with her, I haven't lost much weight, only 2 pounds, but I have noticed my pants fit looser and my shirts aren't quite so snug, My legs have a little shape, and I'm excited! I know the scale doesn't show anything, but it feels different, The other day I cut my mile from 20 minutes down to 17.5! It was really hard, but i think that now that I have gotten there it should be easier to maintain it for a week or so and then chop a little more time off :-) YAY! I've biked 12 miles in one run, and before the fall ends, I will be doing a 22 mile ride off of cape cod! So happy!
Hopefully I'll be around more updating, I think i'm gonna aim for every monday.!
